Our Work
1

At CSAV, concrete actions that directly impact the San Antonio community bring our commitment to sustainability to life. Our work focuses on several areas that promote the integrated development of cities, ports and their inhabitants.

2025 Summary – CSAV Foundation

Thank you for being part of our 2025! As we bid farewell to 2025, we do so by strengthening our commitment to sustainable development in port cities. We succeeded in empowering talent through education and sports, while leading the analysis of current global trade challenges with a strategic perspective from Chile.

Global Trade Day 2025

Alongside Oscar Hasbún, President of Fundación CSAV, and Francisco Pérez Mackenna, Chairman of CSAV, we successfully concluded this latest edition of our seminar ‘Global Trade Day: Defining a New Cartography,’ where we reviewed the key drivers of the new global landscape.

Opening of the Pre-Primary and Primary Courtyard at Padre André Coindre School

The Fundación Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores (CSAV) and the Padre André Coindre Elementary School in San Antonio inaugurated a newly renovated courtyard for preschool and primary levels. This initiative will benefit approximately 150 early-grade students, providing them with an enhanced space for recreation and leisure.

Gym Opening

Schoolchildren, their parents, teachers and authorities celebrated the completion of the remodeled roofed gymnasium of the Padre André Coindre School, located in the Bellavista sector (San Antonio). The project, which will benefit nearly 700 students between Pre-Kindergarten and 8th grade, included the complete renovation of the roof and the creation of new facilities for the practice of various sports and cultural activities.

Gym Remodeling

With significant progress in the works, students, teachers and parents gave their testimonies about the new infrastructure and the contribution it will generate in the school community.
The project, led by the CSAV Foundation, would benefit nearly 700 students of the school for the realization of various physical and cultural activities, being a meeting and coexistence space for the families of the establishment.

EMPRESAS ABIERTAS

On Saturday, October 14, as part of Open Companies Week, a new initiative by the Chilean Federation of Industry (SOFOFA), Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores opened the doors of its office to welcome participating students, parents, teachers, employees and family members.

CLÍNICA DEPORTIVA

Aiming to raise awareness of the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle, Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores worked with Fundación Impulsate to organize a sports program. Children and adolescents participated in workouts and activities to hone their skills and work as a team while participating in different sports.
