New Director of Municipal Education visits Padre André Coindre School

The recently appointed Director of Education for San Antonio visited the Summer School currently run by the CSAV Foundation. During the visit, recent infrastructure projects were presented, and the ongoing construction project was toured.

Last Thursday, one month after taking office, DAEM Director Maximiliano Miranda, accompanied by a team of officials, toured the Summer School organized by the CSAV Foundation, which brings together over 120 children. The visit provided an opportunity to learn about the initiatives designed to benefit students.

During the tour, the main activities of the second edition of the Summer School were showcased, including workshops and games that blend recreation with education. The authorities gained insight into the various activities aimed at providing students with fun and enriching experiences during the summer break.

Following this, the completed infrastructure projects at the school were reviewed, highlighting key developments such as the construction of a multi-purpose court and a covered gymnasium. The tour allowed authorities to see the numerous improvements made for the nearly 700 students who are part of the school community, while also creating gathering spaces to strengthen community bonds.

Additionally, they visited the new construction project, which focuses on renovating the preschool playground to provide a suitable environment for early education levels. This project is designed to enhance sports and recreational activities from a young age.

María Elena Palma from the CSAV Foundation emphasized: “We want to highlight the success of our Summer School, which has had high attendance and a diverse range of recreational activities. The children are having a very enjoyable summer in a safe space. At the same time, the infrastructure projects have significantly improved the environment, providing access to high-quality spaces.”

The CSAV Foundation, together with municipal authorities, underscored the importance of offering quality spaces for the hundreds of students at Padre André Coindre School, promoting new, renovated areas for activities that foster community building in San Antonio.
