Children’s Month: Promoting Talent
Presentations of songs and dances prepared by students showcased the talent of the children at Padre André Coindre School.
To close out the month of August, as part of the Children’s Day activities, students from Padre André Coindre School, with the support of Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores, organized a large-scale celebration involving the entire student body to enjoy a day showcasing the children’s talent.
The initiative arose from the search for strategies to provide a space for students and CSAV staff to meet, reinforcing the values of the school’s educational project such as respect, tolerance and commitment, in order to strengthen reflection, a sense of belonging and well-being.
Throughout the day, students enjoyed different activities, surprise games and other gifts, which created the ideal environment for those who wanted to participate in the talent show, who were evaluated by a jury made up of teachers and representatives of Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores.
At the event, Yolanda Videla, CSAV’s Head of Community Relations, valued the teachers’ commitment to the activity as a whole, commenting that “we have already created a relationship with the school. We are moving forward with the infrastructure improvement project, fulfilling a long-standing desire, but we also want to be part of their day-to-day life and that is why we are here contributing to make these types of activities possible.”
