On November 21, Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores S.A. announced that on December 26, 2023, it will redeem its C series bond issued in 2019, funds that were intended at the time to increase the Company’s stake in Hapag-Lloyd and subsequently hold 30% of the German shipping company.

The amount redeemed early will be equal to the unpaid principal balance of US$100 million, plus interest accrued as of the prepayment date.

After this, CSAV will have no outstanding financial debt.
